I was driving to work today and decided that cars seriously need to be made of foam. Then I can rear-end someone and no one has to get hurt. It drives me insane when things get backed up as two lanes merge. It happens, and that's not what bothers me. What bugs me is those drivers who drive to the front of the line expecting to get in sooner. I'm sorry, but what exactly makes you so special? I need to get somewhere too ... But that made me wonder what some of your pet peeves are. Share away!

I'm not a driver, so no road-related peeves. But it does peeve me off when people walk so slow in the halls of my high school. It's a big school and we've only got five minutes in between classes. Just because they are skipping and have the time to chat with their friends doesn't mean everyone else does!

So I thought of another pet-peeve of mine. When people come up to you and say, "I need to talk to you about something. Just not right now."
It totally stresses me out. Even if I have some inkling of what they want to talk about. I think the problem is my imagination runs wild as I attempt to figure out what they are going to say.

A pet peeve of mine is when in class, the teacher is trying to get her students to quiet down. So one loud mouth shouts "Shut up!" or does that "Shhhh!" thing. It doesn't help at all, it actually makes the room louder.
Also I hate when people tailgate. I think it is the stupidest thing someone could do. I was driving the Honda Pilot and this guy in one of those really small cars starts tailgating me. Since I am a new driver it really freaks me out. And tailgating on its own is dangerous enough.

Tailgating irritates the heck outta me. And everyone out here seems to do it. And when they do, if I'm on one of the backstreets... I'll purposely go slow... then suddenly lurch fast, then slam on my brake and go slow, and repeat the cycle. =] gotta love back streets and no cops. Irritate the heck outta them. Another pet peeve would be the people who try and act a certain way to get attetion. Bleh, high school drama all over, but people do it elsewhere too. If I'm just walking my dog and relaxing, my neighbor has noooo problem talking to me. He'll go out of his way, but when we pass by at the mall or at school even, my Lord, how dare one of the "goonies" talk to him. Don't even know why I'm even considered one of those... at all. So labels get on my nerves as well I suppose.

The only time I tailgate is if someone is driving WAY under the speedlimit. Like when people are going 80 km in a 100 zone.

The word 'nothing.' For example;
"What're you talking about?" "Nothing."
Grrrr.

When people say "When did life get so complicated?" I don't know why, but that really, really gets on my nerves. I also hate it when people tap their pens in the middle of an exam, or when a stranger comes and stands really close to you in a public place and when people sneeze really loudly.

My biggest pet peeve are very slow drivers. Im sorry it just irritates me when one car is just going so slow, and the other lane is just zooming by, and its impossible for me to change lanes because of that.

A big pet peeve of mine is when somebody says something like:
"I'm going somewhere tonight!" "Really? Where?" "Uh....I can't tell you, sorry."
What's the point of telling me you're going somewhere if you can't tell me where you're going?!

Hm...one would have to be when someone drops in a little "Guess what?" in a sentence. How the heck are you supposed to answer that -- they could be...becoming a marine biologist, swimming across the Atlantic (ha), stepping into the road...gah. Or whatever floats their boat but still, either blurt it out or shut it up. Time is money hehe! Oh and another -- litterbugs. Arghh really gets me going when someone drops some empty wrapper or paper in the street and leaves it there to fend for itself when there's a bin 10 metres away. Seriously it's not a huge effort to keep it in your hand... Want more? People who sneeze or cough without covering their mouth, learner drivers (hm a little hypocritical as I am 100% positive I was the worst learner driver ever!) and people who chew gum when they talk to you. Hrmph. I love life.

I have a friend who does this constantly and I am close to throttling her sometimes! I really really hate it when people pronounce the letter 'H' like haych, when it should be Aych.
